Hidden gems around Liverpool that need to feature on your Instagram feed

Liverpool is known for being a vibrant city full of art, culture and history. There’s plenty of sightseeing opportunities to keep you busy. From wandering around the stunning waterfront, learning of the city’s history at one of its many museums and indulging yourself in a Beatles related activity; you’ll never tire of things to do.

While it’s great to hit the typical tourist spots, you may want to consider discovering some of the hidden gems that Liverpool has to offer. Pier Head

For any fans of Wes Anderson’s films, check out the Pier Head which is located on the city’s waterfront. The waterfront has three stunning buildings which make up the Three Graces. They are the Royal Liver Building, The Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building which all have amazing architecture, but if you head towards The Cunard Building you’ll find a retro backdrop that captures Wes Anderson’s style.

New Bird Skate Park

The Baltic Triangle is the place to be in Liverpool at the moment, with business booming for start-ups, bars and cafes, not to mention the popular Baltic Market. But if you’re looking for that Insta-worthy shot then head to New Bird Street and check out the skate park for some truly amazing graffiti. You need to capture it because the next time you walk past there’s probably going to be another work of art on display.

Zig Zag Staircase

Right in the middle of Liverpool One you’ll find the most colourful staircase that leads up to the Galleria and the Terrace. The zig zag staircase changes colour and would make a great Boomerang for your Instagram stories! The staircase is next to a host of shops, restaurants and there’s also an Odeon cinema and Junkyard Golf to keep you busy.

The Club House

During the summer months you’ll want to head to the Terrace on top of Liverpool One where you’ll find the Club House. When you’re sat outside in the large garden and the sun is shining you’ll instantly feel like you’re on holiday. They also have a great selection of food and drinks so after a long day of exploring the city, this is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a cocktail.
