Best Streaming Services

2nd April 2018

In recent times we’ve seen a collaboration of different streaming services from TV to music allowing users to enjoy a much more comprehensive package.

Are you planning on cutting the cord?

Let’s take a look at some of the best streaming services available.

1. Hulu

Hulu is one of the most popular streaming services out there with good reason. They offer users a $7.99 package for their streaming library and a $39.99 per month package for access to more than 50 TV channels. What’s more, users can stream on two different screens at the same time.

There are some undeniable advantages to using Hulu that you just cannot ignore. With just a single subscription, it is possible to create several viewer profiles.

Are you following a series that has you hooked? The great news is that with Hulu you can watch them just 24 hours after they air.

You can even stream different programs simultaneously on different screens, how cool is that?

However, there are a few disadvantages to using Hulu.

To enjoy unlimited screens, you will need to pay a bit more with the extra monthly cost of $14.99. That is almost 2 times the basic subscription cost.

2. HBO Now

Note that HBO Now is a different service to HBO go. HBO Now costs $14.99 per month. One of the main benefits if this streaming service is that you can forget about dealing with adds.

With the HBO Now VR App, you can watch your favorite TV shows in virtual reality.

However, unlike Netflix, you cannot download shows and watch them offline.

3. Netflix

Netflix is another popular streaming service that offers its users a basic monthly plan of $7.99. With this plan, users can watch good movies on Netflix in standard definition. There is also the standard plan at $10.99 per month. Here users get high definition streaming and simultaneous streaming with an extra device. If you want to enjoy ultra HD, there is the premium streaming at $13.99.

However, there are regions that may not be able to view some content due to content blockage. For such regions that do not have certain shows in their Netflix package, they can use the best vpn for netflix that is available to them, so they do not miss out on much-loved shows if they choose.

That said, there are some obvious pros with Netflix. For one it is a very affordable service. You will also not have to pay extra to remove the adds.

And it doesn’t end there.

You can even download your favorite shows to watch later when you are offline,

As for the downsides, there are a few.

If you want to watch an old season, you might not get it on Netflix. This is because as soon as its license expires with Netflix, it gets taken down.

Second, unlike with Hulu, it will take much longer to watch episodes after they have been aired.

4. Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll is a leading streaming platform that caters to anime enthusiasts worldwide. With a vast library of anime titles spanning various genres, it offers a diverse range of content to satisfy different tastes and preferences.

Crunchyroll is particularly renowned for its collection of tsundere love stories in anime, which depict characters with initially cold and aloof personalities who gradually warm up to their love interests.

With its commitment to bringing the best of Japanese animation to a global audience, Crunchyroll has become a go-to platform for anime lovers seeking both classic and contemporary series, including those captivating tsundere love stories.

5. Amazon Prime Video

Are you an Amazon Prime subscriber? Great news!

You can enjoy Amazon Prime Video at no extra costs. However, if you are not a subscriber of amazon prime, you can access amazon prime video at a monthly cost of $8.99.

Be spoilt for choice at the huge number of titles.

The drawback is that you cannot personalize your profiles and can only stream two devices.

6. YouTube TV

There is only one plan with YouTube TV and it will require a monthly subscription cost of $40. To get showtime network, you will have to pay extra.

The main benefit is that you get unlimited storage for up to 9 months on each program downloaded. You also get access to 50 plus networks.
